DUNAMIS FIRST PICTURE

Moving is always hard, we leave behind all the memories that we have made over the years with all the girls that were part of Dunamis’ program. We’ve made great friends along the way and we were able to spread the word of God to everyone who saw His work in Dunamis. Now, thanks to His glory and the way the Holy Spirit touched so many souls, Dunamis has a home to continue the work God has commended us to do. We have such a beautiful view of the creation of our Lord and it is also such a peaceful place to be, you can hear the wind blowing, the sun shining and the birds singing, but most importantly, God send us to a place that needs His aid and we are here to work!

COMMUNITY

We are in love with the view of the property, you can see almost all of Quito and its mountains, so that is a plus! Being here has brought the attention of the local people, who are in desperate need of help. Mostly forgotten by the local government, they claim to God even for the most simple of tasks; there are about 5000 families living here and about 500 children that aren’t able to go to school, that is why from this year forward we are going to implement a new volunteer program for people who want to be part of the Bible School for Kids. Our friends from North Carolina were the first ones to help us with this program and we hope to continue having people over. So if you wish to helps us and be part of the program just send an e-mail to info@dunamisfoundation.com

SAFETY FIRST

We are working really hard to protect the girls, since the house was finished our main goal is to build the walls around the property. We are half way through and Gods has been listening to our prayers. Last week, we receive a group of young volunteers ages 18 to 20 from INKA LINK. They will stay with us for two months and they will develop this project. We pray that we receive more people and that all the projects we have in mind will develop in order to keep helping the girls that come to Dunamis.

PRAYING

We keep praying each day for more strength and wisdom. The girls are coming to their new home to have the workshops and we know how hard transitions may be. We ask you to pray for them, for all the girls that are with us and the ones who are going to come. We are working and doing all we can to finally be able to shelter one of the girls for a long period of time, so please pray for that moment to come soon.
