UPPERROOM COFFEEHOUSE

The dream of Upperroom Coffeehouse was born last June when a team of missionaries came to Dunamis for a three week mission trip. While staying at the foundation, one of the girls on the team noticed a need for a transition program for the older girls that were about to age out of Casa Zoe. Dunamis Foundation has been praying and looking for a way to give the girls an opportunity to work and are so excited to see this dream come to life. Upperroom Coffeehouse is the resolution to this problem and the result of our prayers. The Lord has set this dream in motion since June and it is finally becoming a reality. We’re excited to see what God does through Upperroom Coffeehouse and how the girls continue to grow into the women of God that He is calling them to be.

MISSION & VISION

The mission of Upperroom Coffeehouse is to give the girls at Dunamis Foundation a work opportunity that will help them transition back into the world as capable, healed, and independent young women. Our girls will be trained in the coffeehouse as baristas and learn skills such as customer service, management, cleaning procedures, and running a cash register. Along with these skills, each individual girl will be guided and encouraged in their personal gifts and talents. We want Upperroom Coffeehouse to not only be a way for the girls to provide for themselves and their children but ultimately to be a stepping stone to get them closer to their dreams and callings. We are excited for the growth and opportunity that Upperroom Coffeehouse is going to bring to the girls at the foundation and we would love for you to be a part of it!
