In Ecuador, we say the way our workplace looks is the image of how we are at home, and a clean house is the image of a clean spirit. This Thursday, the people from Dunamis started a minga. For our  friend who do not know what a “minga” is: a solidarity meeting of friends and neighbors to do some work in common, after which they share a generous meal. In most south american countries, mingas are a way to join the people, and that is what we try to do in Dunamis.

Our volunteers and the people who work here cleaned the foundation so our workplace looks clean, we need to show an image that goes with our spirit. If our workplace looks nasty or dirty, then that would mean we are doing wrong. The Bible says: “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men”. Everything we do, we need to do it as an offering to God, because at the end of the day, our work is for His Glory.

Thanks to the Dunamis crew! Our place is a proper place to work, it’s clean and neat!
