This week has been a great blessing for the girls of Dunamis and for us. The verse of the bible that has been present these days is that of Proverbs 31: 8-9 “Speak up for those who can not speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy. ” This is because throughout this week we have worked with the girls spiritually, physically and psychologically and we have marked our presence in the fight against human trafficking.

We welcome the Weston’s!

Dan and Regina Weston are our program directors for Zoe’s home. Their presence is a blessing for us, because it means that our prayers have been heard and the vision that God has given us is growing more and more.

We want all of our friends and family to pray for the Weston’s, for God to guide their journey and for their stay in Ecuador to help with their spiritual growth and the spiritual growth of Dunamis Foundation. We know that transitions to other cultures are difficult, but we believe that they have the vision and the heart to help the girls of Dunamis.

World Day against Trafficking

Dunamis was part of the international day against human trafficking, Naty (our program director) was the representative of Dunamis in this event. Dunamis is part of the anti-trafficking network in Ecuador, which is why we are great representatives of this mission in Ecuador.

We have achieved this thanks to your prayers, thanks to the thousands of blessings that God gives us each day and thanks to the work we have done together. We do not have government help, so your prayers and your donations are very helpful to continue our work and continue helping the girls of Dunamis.

Moving the workshops

God blessed us with the new land, we worked together with the teams that come to Ecuador, all of these combined with the vision and mission that God has put in our hearts has paid off. We are moving the workshops to the new property, which means the girls will have a glance of the new property and programs that Dunamis has to offer. This group will be the first one to recieve the workshops in the property, this is going to be a hard work for us and for the girls. We ask for your prayers, we ask for you to pray for the girls so this transition would not be hard for them.

As well, we want to thank you for your prayers and donations, we believe that God puts people in our path to be a blessing, and now we need you more than ever. We need teams, we need volunteers and people who want to raise funds for Dunamis and spread the word of God, of what He is doing in Ecuador so that more people are willing to come to Dunamis and help the girls in the new home.
