One of the lessons that influenced the girls was when they discovered for the first time what real love means.
What is love? Love is not a feeling or an emotion, love is a person. God is love.
What is the meaning of love? We studied together and took out the concept of Ephesians 5: 28-29. Christ teaches us that love is a decision to protect and nurture the other person and oneself, in body, soul and spirit.
We also complement the teaching with Matthew 22: 37-39. By deepening the topic and analyzing it further, the girls were amazed because they had never managed to see love in such way, for that reason they had allowed themselves to be manipulated, mistreated by cheating, thinking that love was a feeling, and in many cases, They came to think it was a lie.
They understood that loving also involved setting limits and saying NO when necessary.
Throughout the month, we have deepened this teaching, which has been very revealing for them. The Holy Spirit removed a veil from their eyes and allowed them to see the Truth more clearly.
Many of the girls love to talk about this topic and have been able to make real in some areas of their lives the following sentence: They will know the Truth and the Truth will make them free.
